Anyway, won’t write much as I really don’t have anything to say apart from “sorry no LO this week”.. but I do have a few pictures lol….

First up is Wayne and Julieanne picking up the SHEEP poo for the compost…

Next is a daff that I just had to take a picture of, as it’s skin was still attached..

a few Disney on Ice shots from Thursday.. needless to say that I got my best shots from the Little Mermaid, and apparenly the skater the plays Eric is a local boy… Anyway, I took over 400 shots, so good to see that at least a couple turned out.. oh and yes I was sick of taking photos by the end of it lol..

and last a shot of Julieanne next to an ice tree at Docklands the other week. They had a winter wonderland theme up, and these cool looking little trees along the boardwalk.. go and have a look!

And a smudge of my sister.. CC most welcome on this too as I can’t seem to get the balance of painterly look right..

a super quick post today only because I had to share this before I forgot it…

Watching the news earlier tonight Julieanne saw a shot of the Prime  Minister Kevin Rudd.. anyway she says to me “Isn’t the prime minister the brother of the old prime minister?” LOL, I had to laugh and say no, but yes they do look a like don’t they?

Also have to add the I’m typing this on the old PC (as Wayne is hogging MY imac) and boy does it feel weird to type on this keyboard… I love MY slimline mac keyboard, and now every other one feels just plain odd.. also had issues when I went back to work this week and had to use their cruddy old one ;)…

TTFN, and there might be a LO coming in the next few days…. (well I made a promise to myself that I’d a least attempt one.. thanks to Sarah at DD )

First off, I’d like to apologise to all you that read the last post (all one of you Lee.. well apart from those spammers grrrr ) anyway, it was a bit complainy wasn’t it? LOL, hopefully no whinging in this post… well not too much anyway.

I have been attempting to do something a little out of the norm for me in the past week or so, and that has been sewing! I used to do hand embroidery (before digiscrapping took over my life lol) but machine sewing i”d never really tried (even though mum and dad bought me a machine for my 21st Birthday ) anyway I found this and had to give it a shot. The instructions were for an 18 month old so I had to do some math and improvise.. needless to say that I didn’t have as much success as I’d hoped.. I think that I need MORE fabric.. oh and this one was the second attempt too.. if you are going to attempt this, don’t be fooled into thinking that normal chiffon will work… it WON’T and will fray something shocking.. I couldn’t find any nylon chiffon though and tried it… ::sigh:: went back later and got some of this fairyfloss fabric which was a lot easier to use, and a lot cheaper too!

Anyway, here is the result (the skirt)… finished this morning, and just in time as Julieanne wants to wear it to her school disco tonight… hmmm, can’t say that I’m very happy with it really… grrr, I hate never being satisfied!

OK, as there is no one here, I get to complain online about this issue which has annoyed and puzzled me for a few years. Why is it that in heavy fog, like this morning, people insist on driving with their parkers on? Or worse no lights at all?!?! Crossing the 4 lanes of the South Gippy Highway this morning was quite an experience.. anyway, heads up to all you parker user drivers: PUT YOUR NORMAL LIGHTS ON!!! The parkers are useless (well unless you have parked the car and you need to see where it is, hence the name) you might as well not have any on at all (which quite a few people are doing too)… OK, feel a bit better now….

Yes I’m a singstar! granted it was on easy and it was singing The Rolling Stones’ Painted Black (which consists of a LOT of hmmmmm-ing, which really made me feel my sinuses) but I did get that result.. which I’m only guessing is the top score. Anyway it came about yesterday when Julieanne asked if we could play it, sure I said being a closet performer lol… anyway we play in duet mode so we each get a turn of singing, but turns out that she didn’t want to sing this song so I was stuck with both microphones doing the old switcheroony.. pretty good of me I must say… LMBO ;P

It was Stewarts Birthday on yesterday too, so we picked him up on Friday and went out to Chinese for tea.. which was nice.. he only stayed the one night as he’d organised a party at his house the Saturday night.. anyway, turns out that even though he’s had his ipod touch since Christmas he still didn’t know how to buy songs from itunes, so I got him a $50 voucher (amongst other things) to spend up on.. Big W had them for $30, so that’s 40% off! I really should get another one I think as Wayne wants me to do a CD for his dad of old Aussie songs….

Umm really not much else to say so will leave it at that I think.. .unless I think of anything else noteworthy

BTW card was made using Anna Aspnes FotoKardz template No 1, and boy do they make life easy.. took me about 2 mins to put it together… though my printing took much longer.. for the life of me I can’t get my printout to match my screen… anyone have a good printer profile for the canon MP530 multifunction?

Ok, so the 4th season has finished, but I’ve been getting back into the first season of DVD (lol, that I bought without ever watching an episode….!) Anyway, last night a saw the episode of when Claire and Charlie get taken by Ethan, and Claire has a dream sequence with Locke in it, where he has a white eye and a black eye (good and evil of the island??) anyway she asks him what is wrong, and he says something along the line of: it’s all wrong because you gave him away….. Hmmmm could this have something to do with the “bad stuff” that is happening on the island after the 6 get off… is it because Kate now has Aaron??? But then why would Claire be telling Kate not to bring him back… or was she meaning Locke… and what did that psychic actually see in Claire’s future?? he did say that Aaron needed Claire’s goodness to raise him…

It’s all doing my head in but….. I LOVE IT!!!!

On to other things.. this week has been a bit of a bbsp one (lol MAC girls will get that one ) Wayne is back doing the Adelaide run, and blew a tyre the other night.. expensive episode that was… I think that the actual trip cost us… oh well such is life I suppose… reminds me of a video Karen had on her blog.. check it out, pretty good stuff

Ok, and now just to have a little whinge: Petrol prices… or rather DIESEL prices!!! Have people seen the price of them lately!? I know that really there is nothing that can be done about it, but when you are running 2 trucks it is really starting to hurt! I serioulsy hope that the government does something about it SOON! IE increase the fuel rebate which has been the same since the price was about 50 cents cheaper!! or make the rebate work of dollars spent and not litres used!

Anyway, that is my little gripe of the day… (only because it can see it eating into my camera money :((( )
